At Sorrow Place, we believe in the power of communities with shared interests. Here's what you need to know about creating and managing communities within our platform:

1.Community Leaders

1.1 Community Buddy

• When you create a community on Sorrow Place, you become its leader and caretaker or a community buddy. As a community buddy, you have the opportunity to shape and guide your community's direction.

1.2 Authentic Representation

• We encourage all community buddies to represent themselves authentically. This helps build trust and fosters a sense of belonging within your community.

1.3 Safety and Well-being

• It's your responsibility as a community buddy to prioritize the safety and well-being of your community members. Create a space where everyone feels respected and supported.

2. Community Policies

2.1 Creating Communities

• When creating a community, ensure that its purpose aligns with its basis of selection/categories. Communities should foster a positive interaction overall.

2.2 Content Compliance

• As a community leader, you should ensure that the content within your community complies with the Content guide provided. Content that repeatedly or severely violates Content guide may lead to action against the community or its member(s) i.e. suspension of profile.

2.3 Community Name

• Choose a name for your community that is respectful and does not contain profanity or violate our guidelines. Changes to the community name should not significantly alter its existing purpose.

2.4 Verification

• Do not falsely represent that your community is officially verified or authenticated by Sorrow Place. Unauthorized use of verification symbols is not allowed.

2.5: Prescription or Medical Treatment:

Any counselor or mind therapist who creates a community as Sorrow Place, is strictly prohibited to use the platform for diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, and providing any kind of medical advice.

2.6 Responsible Promotion

• If your community is involved in promoting any form of online gambling, drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers, pyramid schemes or online pharmacies are not allowed at Sorrow Place.

2.7 Promotions and Contests

• If you host promotions, contests, or sweepstakes within your community, ensure they comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Participants must release Sorrow Place from liability, and the promotion should not incentivize excessive sharing or publicization.

2.8 Data Collection

• If you collect information from community members, obtain explicit consent and provide clear notice regarding data usage. Clarify that you, not Sorrow Place, are responsible for data collection.

2.9 Event Transparency

• For events hosted within your community, transparently disclose any required actions. Event invitations should not be generated automatically. Neither Sorrow Place nor its management bears any responsibility for such events, including their organization and associated concerns.

2.10 Legal Compliance

• Your community should not promote illegal activities, products, or services. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to age-restricted activities and substances.

By adhering to these policies, you can create and manage a vibrant and inclusive community within Sorrow Place while maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all members.
