To begin using the Sorrow Place Counselor App, you must download it from the App Store or Google Play. You can also visit our website at www.sorrowplace.com for additional download options.

2.2 Signing Up / Logging In

• Sign Up: Open the app and click on the "Sign-Up" button. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account, including verifying your professional credentials.
• Log In: If you already have an account, click "Continue with Google" or “Continue with iCloud” and easily access the application.

2.3 User’s Profile: Your Hub

• Profile Creation: After signing up, create your profile by providing your username, title, profile picture and a brief bio.
• Profile Management: You can update your profile information at any time by using the ‘Edit My Profile’ option.

3.1 Eligibility

The Counselor App is intended for use by the professional counselors—including psychologists, therapists, coaches, and motivational speakers. By using the Application, you confirm that you are legally permitted to provide any of these services (except motivational speakers).

3.2 Consultation Services

The Application facilitates online consultations between professional counselors, motivational speakers, therapists, and coaches with clients via video calls. The quality of consultations depends on users' internet connection and device capabilities.

4.1 Upcoming Appointments:

The app facilitates access to upcoming appointment schedules. Viewing upcoming appointments and receiving reminders or notifications helps to track and manage the entire schedule, including times and dates.

4.2 Appointment History

The App provides a comprehensive summary of appointment history, including all past consultations. This information is for personal reference and helps to track future appointments to their best.

4.3 Notifications

You will receive notifications and reminders for upcoming appointments to ensure timely attendance.

4.4 Availability Management

Professionals can mark themselves as available or unavailable for consultations. This status will be reflected in the app to manage appointment scheduling effectively.

5.1 Payment Methods

App facilitates smooth payment processing for consultations through integrated payment gateway, ensuring secure and efficient transactions directly within the App.

5.2 Fees

The platform fee is clearly communicated to the users upfront, ensuring transparency in the payment process. Professional counselors—including psychologists, therapists, coaches, and motivational speakers— are advised to set their consultation fees and receive smooth payment processing after each consultation service.

It is worth noting that the platform does not facilitate consultation fee which is less than $10.

6.1 Call Quality

The Application provides a platform for audio and video consultations. Users are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and compatible devices for optimal performance.

6.2 Confidentiality

All consultations conducted through the App are intended to be confidential. However, users should be aware that no online communication is completely secure.

7.1 Feedback Submission

App provides users reviews and feedback regarding their consultation experience. This feedback is valuable for professional consultants to improve their services and for other users to make informed decisions.

7.2 Review Guidelines

Professional consultants can receive positive and negative feedback, where they can track the number of satisfied and unsatisfied clients.

8.1 Account Security

The users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account. Users must contact the Counselor App support team in case of any unauthorized use of their account.
